All season floor mat question

Although this is a small issue, it is still an issue I need impute on. I ordered all season floor mats ( 08P13-SJA-220A ) from a dealer in Peoria Arizona and when the mats arrived they were black when I specifically ordered the beige color to match my interior. Now the issue in question is today I contacted the dealer and informed them on the mix up in color. The representative told me that the all season floor mats only come in "black." How can this be true if I was given the option to purchase beige while placing the order online? Am I wrong or is he trying to avoid sending a new set of mats?

That's exactly what I figured. Was the part number I posted correct?

I work for a local Honda dealership where I'm from. It's actually not uncommon for an accessory to only come in one colour. Even if a second colour was available initially, Honda will discontinue one or the other after some time. Here in Canada, only black if offered for us. If indeed the parts representative at your dealership has checked availability of the beige mats and his query came back as being discontinued, then unfortunately you're SOL.

Actually, now I'm curious if beige is indeed discontinued here in Cananda. I'll check tomorrow when I get to work, hehe.

That part number is for Ivory, but LSM is also correct... lets see what OEM Tim has to say.

Side note... support your board sponsors.

I traced our ordering system back, and we haven't sold the 220A in over a year. Last time we sold a 210A was in October. If it was us (?), email the order number to me at hondacuraworld@aol.com ....because I can't find an order for either number in our system.

The 220A is available.

Tim that is incorrect as far as I can tell. I just call about 25 dealers throughout the US and all have said the same exact thing "all colors for the all season floor mats are discontinued except for black." This is making me increasingly more disappointed toward Acura. They insist on discontinuing parts without replacing them. First the wood knob then the the wood wheel now floor mats what's next???

I guess I'll have to train myself (OCD) to get use to the black mats in an all wood and beige interior.

Top, have you tried using the part# from the MMC RL. I have the MMC all weather floor mats in my 07 RL and it fits fine. The front is spot on but the rear mats are a little different but they fit just fine.

No I have not tried the MMC I figure I'll give the black ones a chance since I already have them. Plus I would have to spend $30+ to return the black ones. Since my car is black I'm hoping the mats will look nice

Why? They are a business. Did you buy the car new from a dealer? You are 8 years late to the punch here. How long should they hold/restock unwanted accessories in your opinion?

There is stock in Acura's warehouse in Loudon, TN. I could easily prove them wrong if you order them from me and end up receiving them

Tim if you can on me and let me know how I can order the mats I would be very grateful. Or just post a web address (link) where I can make the order. I will not do any personal transactions due to the amount of scams out there.

You have his phone number and direct email.

He says he has them in a warehouse... if you want them you have two channels to get them.

Now we are all just whoring it up for the sake of post count.

Are you looking for 05-08 Mats or 09 and up? The Ivory 05-08 are discontinued however the Ivory in 09 and up are available.

That being said, how off are the 09 mats? I want Ivory for my 08. Is the fitment really off? Has anyone looked into this?

You do realize Tim is the parts manager for Acura of Peoria; right? His job isn't to browse Acurazine; it's to take orders. How about you contact his business?

Just for the record, he does have a day job and a family so although I'm sure you mats are important to you he may take a day to respond... hang in there

Wow to answer everyone's concerns. Acura of peoria IS WHERE I PURCHASED THE BLACK MATS. I ordered ivory but they sent me black because they said the ivory was discontinued. I contact Tim to order the ivory after he said he had them to only find out he did not. So to everyone who keeps telling me Tim has the mats HE DOES NOT. the ivory for the 05-08 are long gone. Does anyone know if the 09 mats are compatible with the 08?

On a side note, I would like to give some recognition to Eric from Acura of peoria. I have ordered many parts from him and received nothing but stellar service. If he does not have the part u need in stock, he will order it from another dealer for you. That kind of service is why I buy my parts from Arizona oppose to Connecticut.
