Additional XM Problems After TSB 05-022 Performed?
After having the update done, I have noticed the following:
1. The category indicator in the upper display does not change when cycling thru the various display categories when using the "Disp_mode" button.
2. I can only select categories "Channel" and "Category" when the "Audio" scrreen is displayed on the Nav display. To see this do the following.
* Push the Audio button while listening to XM.
* Push the Interface Dial down.
* Select "Mode".
* Push in the Interface Dial repeatedly to cycle thru the 4 category selections.
Only the Channel and Category setting can be selected.
* Exit from the Audio menu by using the Cancel button. The top display category setting will continue to display what was last selected in the Audio menu. For example, it will display the "CH" setting while the display is showing the name of the song.
Note: The XM radio does what it is suppose to do, it's only the display settings that are not right.
Any one else see this behavior?

You know what?
You might have a point here, but I'm in the same
boat as you wheras I am not 100% certain I remember
how things worked BEFORE the update.
It does seem that you can no longer change the
category display using the "display" button as you
did before. The display button still changes the LED
title readout on top of the dash, but not the category
readout in the NAV display.
I'm with you on this -- I think it has been compromised.

I havn't had the TSB performed, later today I will try it out and see if I experience the same issue or not - then you can know for sure that the update caused more problems. You know, these constant software updates - creating new bugs - reminds me an awful lot of the 5-series when it came out. Everybody had to go in for software updates every month or something ridiculous like that.

Okay...
I do see a change after the TSB was performed, and I am hoping
that perhaps this is something I accidentaly changed.
When changing channels on your XM radio using the channel (+)(-)
buttons on the steering wheel, it no longer changes channels one-by-one
in a numerical up or down fashion (eg: channel 4, 5, 6, 7)
Instead, it merely skips through your presets (#1-6).
