I believe that the owners manual shows how to setup different warnings in the multi info screen. Have you checked this?

Yes, you can disengage the BEEP via the MID.

When PRE-RUNNING CAR
DETECT BEEP is set to ON, one
beep sounds when the ACC detects a
vehicle in front of you. You also hear
a beep when that vehicle goes out of
the range of your vehicle’s radar
sensor.

While the multi-information display
is in the ACC SETUP of the
CUSTOMIZE GROUP, press the
SEL/RESET button. The screen
changes to the above display.

Press the SEL/RESET button. The
screen changes as shown above.
Select ON or OFF by pressing the
INFO ( / ) button, then press the
SEL/RESET button to enter your
selection.

You get the feeling that people do not want to read their manual, or the manuals are not supplied when the cars are resold. Acura gives you three different ways to learn how to operate the car:

The traditional owners manual
The quick start guide, kind of like getting a new computer
The DVD with chapters on individual functions

When a car is resold, do you guys get all this stuff?

There is also the MY ACURA website, personalized for your vehicle (register with your VIN). You can access it from Acura.com

It has multimedia demos of the RLs features and an online manual which can be downloaded into a PDF, making searches much easier.
