accessory power sockets

Does anyone know if the accessory power sockets operate when the car is off? I couldn't find the answer in the manual. Not saying it's not there, just that I couldn't find it! (And I don't have anything to test it with right now.)

Thanks.

I found an old plug that lights up when it is in use. I put it in the console power socket. The light went off when the car was turned off. So that answers my question. Probably safe to plug the bluetooth phone in there and just let it be. Let me know if you think otherwise.
