A146 code

A146 code

i got oil changed and when I rode around about an hour service light came on saying service soon A146 what does this mean?

You don't mention mileage or year of your RL, but if you scroll to the bottom of this page, it will help you with what all of the maintenance items associated with the letters and numbers that pop up on you MID display.

It's a 2008 rly and the mechanic says it was changed at 65000 miles it now has 99000

And it's a 2008

Since the timing belt was changed at 65,000 miles you do not need to change it at this time. Acura recommends the timing belt be replaced every 7 years or 105,000 miles.

My local Acura dealership quoted me a price of $1,372 to replace the timing belt and water pump. Dealership prices may vary slightly for this service. An independent repair shop may do it for around $600 - $700.
