After a long time debating whether to trade in an '04 Saab 9-3 2.3T wagon, I picked up this 3 year old CPO '08 RL with CBMS/PAX and 37,000 miles. I also got the 8yr/120K mile AcuraCare warranty. The PAX wheels/tyres were replaced with chromed factory wheels and new Bridgestone Turanza tyres. New front brake pads etc. I am really enjoying the car and it is a world apart from my beloved Saab. The RL has less low end torque than the Saab's turbocharged engine but it's just a totally different engine, is all. RL is so smooth in comparison and I love the toys on it. I drive pretty sedately so am happy that the average gas mileage so far (24 - 25 mpg) is similar to the Saab (25 - 26) over the same driving routes, despite the extra heft and 'drag' from the AWD system. This car just rails around corners with less roll and a totally neutral feel.

Traded in a 2009 TSX w/Tech Package. I had the TSX in to replace a cracked fog light and was wandering the used car lot waiting. The price and features on the RL were too good to pass so I did the test drive and was sold. I absolutely love this car and all of its features. It drives great, is amazingly quiet inside and is just downright beautiful. The only thing I really miss is my iPod connection, but I'm growing to appreciate the XM radio again. Purchased as a CPO from Ron Tonkin Acura. I did need to get the Gear Shift/Lock Solenoid replaced due to its clicking noise every time the car started moving over 5 mph. They replaced it no questions asked and its nice and quiet now just as it should be.

Made the move to the RL after eight years with 03 Maxima GLE. Test drove a new Accord, Maxima and 535i and after driving the RL it was a simple decision. At first I thought the price was too high but after hours of comparison to other RLs I think the price was fair.

I have been "married" with Honda before, have had Accord Wagon 1993 and Honda Legend Coupe 1993 with manual transmission.
Coupe burned two and half years ago when i was driving home from work, fuel leak, nothing doing, it burned to the ground. There was no good ones on markets what to buy with insurance money. I bought a Audi TT 2001, had it like two years and now i traded it to this "Honda Legend".
Because our lunatic car tax system here in Finland, i think that the price what i got from TT and what was left to pay for this is not so important...

Carbon Grey Pearl is the "bluish-grey" color. It is darker than the Lakeshore Silver Metallic which may have a purple tint under the right light.

30,000 miles, I'm the third owner. Bought it from an older engineer, who had got it at 3,500 miles. He had all the service records, it's very well taken care of. It has a very slight ding in the passenger side rear panel (you have to have the light just right to even notice it), and carfax showed that it was in an accident at 3,000 miles in California with the 1st owner, but the engineer said that in his research when buying the car it appeared to have hit a parked car, probably at low speed. He had never had any problems with it. He was selling it because his company gave him a car and it was sitting in his garage mostly unused.

I'm very happy with the purchase; it drives very, very nicely. I previously owned a 2002 TL-S that I had put 220,000 miles on without a single breakdown, which sold me on Acura. I was hit in an accident and the insurance company totaled my car, or I would be driving it still. I'm hoping that this car will also be purring along at 200,000+.

I came here to do some research and maybe ask some questions from other owners, but will do those in other posts.

Nice pickup. The Dice mediabridge is a good unit. If your interior is a brownish-tan, it is Partchment. Grey-tan is Taupe. The light silver is Platinum Frost Metallic while the darker grey-silver is Lakeshore Silve Metallic. One member here has an RL with 315k+ mi that he just gave to a young family member. You should be good to 200k easy.
