Hi all new here, Ive been looking for a KB2 for a while now and I came across a a salvage title at action that I could not pass up with just over 100000 km on it, so I picked it up with $4880 +taxes fees and parts, in right now around 8k-9k, had no idea parts are so hard to come buy on the kb2 so I had to bight the bullet on some new oem parts to , well I sill have no regrets I love my new ride is almost done just waiting on repainting the front bumper cover fogs and a headlight washers , but holly crap the oem parts are pricey, so I might just wait till I can get some from a scrapper and just put the covers temporally in place. Today I picked up a set of 18" Mugen rims with tire pressure sensors with bfg performance tires with 90% tred sweet price off a kb1 Aspec from japan Parts reseller her in Toronto, have no pics of them on the car but will post when I get a chance. Looking at getting them repowder coated this winter because there in some flaking of the chrome but they have no curb rash.

155k miles. Everything works except one fog-light bulb, and it needs one RR mudflap. Runs very strong. 2nd owner. Timing belt done at 111k. Carfax shows a mileage inconsistency. Putting new snows on it soon (we get 400" average per winter here in Truckee, CA). Seeking FSM, RR mudflap, and a metal aftermarket skidplate. Hell of a car. All the info posted on here helped me quite a lot in my search these past weeks, and it all helped me ID (and pass on) an otherwise nice 2007 that had serious piston ring issues even though it ran very strong.

2005 RL with 140,000, has had a few previous owners, but maintenance records have been kept pretty well up to date. I recently swapped my chipping chrome bumper trims with color matched ones from an RL at a Pull-A-Part. I went ahead and snagged the passenger door handle as well because mines giving me the “Keyless Entry” Error. I plasti-dipped the trim above and below the grill because the chrome was chipping on the lower. I’m about to replace the center console armrest covers, hopefully get the door handle installed (and hope it works), and at some point I want to install a Navtool with the Apple CarPlay as well as fix the leather on my seats that’s torn up. Oh, and one TPMS sensor is giving me an error, any easy fix for that?

Picked up my 2005 Acura RL from a little lot in Hillyard. It had 133k miles on it. Decent shape, seats were worn out, few small dings in the exterior, but overall drives good. Using it to drive back and forth to work in North Dakota. Pretty impressed with this car. Was looking for a TL, but the SH-AWD and the price sold me on this one. $5700 out the door.

I've always had a thing for this generation RL. As a 10 year Honda dealer tech, I wanted to find one with issues so I could pick it up cheap. I found this one with a bad radiator and head gaskets. Interior near mint...new center armrest, seats and glovebox good, just the driver's door armrest starting to deform. So far I've done the radiator, both head gaskets, thermostat, front engine mount, front tires, and installed a spacer on the rear bank secondary O2 sensor to eliminate the surprise P0420 that I got (can't bring myself to spend $1100 on a cat!). All in all, between buying the car and parts, I'm at $1756. Not bad for a $50k car!

Hi, I’ve been a longtime Legend owner and have been lurking on here since getting my KB1, lots of invaluable information I’ve found here! My car was a one owner vehicle until 2016 when it was handed down to a teenager and unfortunately neglected. I purchased it after it was involved in a front end accident and replaced the front end parts through diligent junkyard combing and also reversed most of the wear to the interior and exterior. Mileage is 274,000 currently. I have since found the OEM spoiler, wood steering wheel and knob plus added the ‘09 console. I also got lucky and found the JDM Legend emblems at the junkyard and got the JDM Legend door sills.

Hi everyone, just bought my first Acura, and I ended up getting the flagship from '05. Go figure. It was really well taken care of by the previous owner(s), so I shouldn't have anything to worry about. Odometer said 91k, now I've brought it up to 92k miles. The only thing I've found "wrong" with it is the TPMS sensors going bad. Some of the chrome trim around the bumpers is flaking, the headlights are a little hazy, and there was a chip on the windshield that was badly patched (which I got redone). Otherwise it's nearly perfect. It looks good, it drives well, there's so many features I don't know what to do with myself...
Some general advice would definitely be appreciated.
