This was an entertaining thread.

OP, you need to updates!

I think another main reason is due to the dealer service dept dealing a lot more with TL's and rarely with RL's. If TL's use brembo...

My dealer - sorry, EX dealer, quoted by a hundred bucks for trans fluid changed.

I arrive for appointment, he exclaims: ah, this is AWD.

You just leave, u know. It becomes risky either way.

Definitely agree, it’s almost criminal how little some Acura dealers know about their own product the RL lol

Yea lol.

I'd just tell OP that the stock brakes are composite. Meaning they will leave dust on the rims. An advice I got from the locals on here but I still went with stock. Old ones were advics and new ones too. Parts guy at dealer was like: oh, they are advics.

So yes, they leave dust. Probably full ceramics from a good quality aftermarket brand may be best. Next time for me.

I'm happy with my Akebono ceramics, fairly low brake dust and good performance too

Akebono:
Amazon Amazon

PowerStop Sport
Amazon Amazon

The reviews are drawing me towards powerstop though.

I wish rl015 would update us in his PowerStop kit experience.
