USNews Ranks 2017 RDX #3 behind Porsche Macan and Jaguar F-Pace
The 2017 RDX was ranked #3 in compact luxury SUVs: https://cars.usnews.com/cars-trucks/...y-compact-suvs
USNews made a mistake though. The Jaguar F-Pace is not a compact SUV, it's a mid to full sized SUV. Therefore, the 2017 RDX is actually ranked #2.

Sorry, but this article craps all over itself. Some of the data listed is incorrect. And they list the RDX as least reliable? Really? The RDX is one of the most reliable vehicles out there. Plus, how can you compare an RDX to a Porsche Macan? It’s like comparing bananas to apples. I like to look at the RDX as a poor man’s Macan.
However, you can compare the 2016+ RDX to the Macan. They compete in the same luxury segment. And in fact, I researched both, among others, before deciding to purchase the RDX.

"If a small, luxury SUV is on your shopping list, you should consider the 2017 Acura RDX. This stylish Acura is one of our favorites thanks to its fuel-efficient, yet powerful V6, comfortable interior and long list of standard features. Read on to find out why the RDX could be a good fit for you."

he is nothing but a troll.
dont believe me? read through his history.
he believes the RDX should be number 1 above P-cars, above Jaguars, Above MB....
which the RDX is not.
if some one is delusional in real life, my blunt ass will call their ass OUT!!!!!!!!!!
I had a pathological liar as a sales manager once...he told me such bullshit, that I constantly laughed in his face. which only made him lie even more.
"Dont fuck with me J, I have a few bodies on me and I used to transport cocaine across the country"
shut the fuck up, you're a sales manager.

Ya, if you have been around here for the last year or so, you would know Rockyboy is some kid having a good time trolling here. That said, we still may be assholes

Pretty lazy MMC imo. I don't buy the pandemic and chip shortage excuse, given they still released the 4G MDX earlier this year and that was an FMC.
Sure, it already sells well and "don't mess with success", but the GLC/Q5/X3 also sell well, yet new head/tail lamps and front/rear bumpers are pretty much always guaranteed when those models get refreshed.
Not to mention the lack of a Type-S variant (despite all the "performance" hoopla) or new powertrain changes/offerings. My guess? A 3.0T model would steal the MDX-S' thunder, the rumored hybrid isn't ready, and the J35 wouldn't provide enough differentiation from the 2.0T.

And if someone else ranks cars or anything, the results will likely be different.
I do not put much weight in "rankings". They are there to give you a warm and fuzzy feeling if whatever you own ranks at the top.

Same here lmao. My girlfriend's mom had a 2017 Jaguar F-Pace from 2017 until a couple months ago. It only had 65,000 miles on it and it was a piece of junk. It went through 2 headgaskets, and the engine was damaged at the end of its life. The car was maintained, but it just shows that Italian cars are junk and that these "rankings" are BS.

Surprised nobody called out the OP's claim that "the Jaguar F-Pace is not a compact SUV, it's a mid to full sized SUV".

Now I used to have an Italian girlfriend in Italy. Her brother Tony owned a car parts business there. So they were born in Italy and lived there. Tony told me (in Italian), Ferraris are beautiful to look at, but if you want a real sports car, buy a Porsche. I almost bought a mint and low mileage Ferrari Maranello 550 with that beautiful sounding V12, but went for the Porsche GTS. Funny thing about used Ferraris, they all have no mileage on them. Maybe Tony was right.

You lost me with that one. Jaguars used to be British and maybe still are, so what does that have to do with Italian cars?

Nice cars to look at as well, but I always joke with owners that they must be expert mechanics to own one. You need to be.

Go to the 6:45 mark in this video. Now that is a great looking classic car. Too bad they were not the most reliable.

Not surprising to say the least lmao. I'll never forget when they had the whole issue with the defective engines from 2011-2014 blowing up due to metal shavings still being in the cylinders from the factory.
