Tekonsha Trailer Harness - Connector Details

Is anyone familiar with the construction of this connector? I need to disassemble it, without damaging it.

I want to remove the wires / pins so that I can slip a length of heat shrink tubing over the 4-conductor wires that go to the trailer connector (can't do it from that end).

Thanks, but I prefer to use a length of heat shrink tubing and I'll use the quality stuff that is more of a rubber than a plastic.

One day when I have time, I'll separate the white and grey connector components. I am sure, like other connectors I have come across, that that is how the connector pins are held in place.
