RDX keeps beeping when driver door opens

My 2017 RDX Elite constantly beeps when driver door is open and engine is off (no beeping with engine running). Not sure what causing it and I couldn't find any setting to disable that. No indicators are lit, so its not some sensor.

Anyone knows how to disable that?

This is probably too obvious a question, but...it's not in accessory mode, is it?

Your lights are off correct? Key still in the car, maybe in the cupholder since it's push button start?

Stupid question, but it must be asked.

*Edit: Stupid question that I asked, not what you're asking.

The reason for this I believe that it reminds you to take your key fob with you. Most people will leave the key fob in the cup holders upon entering the car.

Must be something else. This is started happening few days ago, before I didn't have any beeping. I used valet service over a weekend attending some event, so I thought guy change some settings, just cant figure out what.

I can't imagine valet guys changing settings. About the only thing these guys do sometimes is turn the headlights off. Make sure the headlight switch is in OFF or AUTO. Otherwise, it'll beep at you, although the beep is faster than the seat belt caution.

Ha, you right, the headlight switch was ON. Did not cross my mind that that can be the reason. Lights always stay on for a while longer after before shutting off regardless if its AUTO or ON position.

Thanks for pointing it out.

Mentioning the valet guys was the key. Every time I take the RDX into the dealer, they turn the headlights off. I find myself wondering why the headlights aren't coming on that night.
