Dealer installed window tint

My 2017 RDX had window tint installed by the dealer. The front passenger and driver windows are so dark, that at night I have to roll down the windows so see out. I live in Prescott,AZ and a lot of areas are not lit at night. This level of tint may work In Phoenix( where the dealer is located), but not here ! How can I remove the tint myself ?

Thanks,
Bruce

Auto supply stores sell window tint remover kits. They probably contain chemicals that would be safe for the door panel and other upholstery in case things get sloppy.

Cheers!

But you'll lose the "I'm so cool" factor if you remove the tint. Sorry, could not resist.

Thanks to all for your input. Used a razor blade and soapy water. Took longer to get the glue off than the tint !

I have to wonder what level of film they used. I had my tint shop match the rears(about 25%) and have no issues at night. In fact, it helps with headlight glare IMHO.

The tint the dealer used was 35 ( allows 65 % of light to pass through). They should have used 20 ( allows 80% of light to pass through). Here in Prescott,AZ there are streets that are not lit by anything but the moon and stars!!!
