Car cam on RDX

My RDX is on lease, and I want to install a
Blackvue DR750s-2ch Blackvue DR750s-2ch
on it. The install would need to get power from the fuse box and hide the wire (from front cam to the rear cam). Would that violate the lease contract, or void the warranty or affect the insurance?

Or do you have any great car cam to recommend? It looks like there is not power outlet in the back and it's hard to just plug-in a cam in the rear window.

Thanks,
wil.

Not at all. Just do the install so it doesn't damage anything.

The following link may help: https://acurazine.com/forums/second-...ashcam-939537/

The 2-channel dashcam I used (Apeman) only needed a power connection at the front of the car. The cable connecting the rear camera to the front camera has the rear camera's power sent through it. In my 2017, it was pretty easy to invisibly route that cable along the edge of the headliner all the way to the back window, exposing only a small service loop of wire to reach the hatch's plastic trim along the top of the rear window. You could pull the cable back out really easily before returning the car at the end of lease.
