anyone lowered RDX?

Lowering (or lifting) a car or truck screws up the suspension geometry and probably puts more stress on u-joints and/or cv-joints. It's all a system that was designed to work together. Farting around with it without understanding the overall design will only lead to worse, possibly dangerous, handling and ride and premature wear. Why ruin a perfectly good vehicle?
The same is true with guys who dick around with the intake & exhaust systems, removing air boxes, changing mufflers, adding CAIs, etc. Waste of time & money & usually only makes it worse.
Then again, it's your car, do with it what you want.

I like the look of the macan gts for instance with its ride height, and yes it was designed that way and the Rdx wasn't. To me, the rdx wobbles quite a bit in its stock form. I'm interested in lowering it an inch or 2 like my TLX and then then put slightly wider wheels on it. Say what you will but I bet it handles better than it does now. The thing is a complete shit box in its stock form. I can't even believe I agreed to buy this thing for my wife haha. Live and learn.

Well lowering the vehicle a couple of inches would also lower the center of gravity, hence better handling. I'm 65,,by the way. Hmm lower it 4 inches , grab some rally sport type wheels painted the same color of my RDX (burgundy) with chrome baby moon hubcaps and then off to the muscle car reunion . Yeah That's The Ticket.
