AcuraLink Low Power Mode Notification

I received a couple of e-mails:
------------
Dear CanTexAcuraLink services for your 2017 Acura RDX have been restored.

Sincerely,
AcuraLink
------------------------------
Hmmm. The e-mails were sent immediately after I started up the car. The dealer figures it was just some routine satellite updating. I'm wondering if it's the AcuraLink app I use to check vehicle status every now and then. I have also used the app to send addresses to the car, rather than type them into the screen in the car. I can't believe the app consumes that much battery power when checking status, etc. (Nifty app, BTW.)

The dealer did a battery test and it passed easily.

Anybody else have this issue?

My wife's '12 TL SH-AWD Tech would throw errors to the message screen that the voltage was low, but that was on really cold days after the car had sat for a bit. IN our case a battery replacement was in order (aftermarket higher CCA variant vs an OEM replacement), and the error never has been seen since. IN your case it could have been the battery was undercharged since the car hadn't been used, and is now charged adequately. Sounds like the errors are being sent thru AcuraLink now a days, vs just an error on the screen in the '12.
