2G pet peeves

I love my RDX but no vehicle is perfect..here is my pet peeve about this vehicle after 1 year of ownership:

the glove box AKA slippery plastic opening that projectile-vomits all of its contents onto the floor if you forget to close it...

yeah yeah...point is, you shouldn't have to do that..and I forgot to add, on mine, the glove box door does not line up properly so there is a glaring visual imperfection and you kinda have to slam it. so it closes...i have tried twice to loosen the door screws and re-position it but oddly it cannot be re-positioned.

point is; instead of complaining, come up with a fix.

As you mentioned, no vehicle is perfect but, thanks to this and other forums, you can easily take care of many niggling little issues that bother you.

Thanks to RRaisley, here's the simple (and good looking) fix for the slippery glovebox. I've done this on both my RDX and Toyota Avalon (which also had a plain plastic glovebox) with great results. BTW the left over carpet makes a nice cargo area mat.

Cheers!

Mine is the bumpy or thumping front struts and rear shocks. Acura has a TSB on it I think, but I haven't gotten around to take it. Other than that is a solid good truck.

I have no complaints. Guess that's why I have 2.

Look at the bright side, at least the RDX does not have one of those electrically activated parking brakes than so many vehicles now have. An answer to a question nobody asked and another item to go wrong.
