13 RDX a/c not working...

hi guys, new to the forum!

just picked up a 13 RDX FWD w/ Tech. Love it so far..

however, my a/c just stopped working. No air coming out of vents. Controls will turn on but zero air?

Could it be a fuse or a bad connection?

appreciate any help! Thanks!

Is there any kind of warranty from where you bought it? Private sale, well, no luck. It sounds like a fuse but I'm not the person you need to figure it out. This may have been a problem for the previous owner and they just stuck a fuse in there to sell it.

no air = blower motor not working

simple test
put fan on HIGH if motor works, it's a resistor issue if not

take blower motor out and put 12V on it, if it runs, it's good

nest remove resister and check that it is not blown

also test to see if you get signal from control unit

so... op did you get this figured out yet?.. Since the RDX uses an automatic climate control system the blower resister really isn't your typical resistor it is a module that controls blower speed based upon a pulse width modulated signal from the control unit. This video will give you a basic understanding of how the system works and how to troubleshoot it (this is a ford truck where the blower is stuck on high)
