Winter wheels w/o TPMS sensors but no TPMS alert

Its been 4 days and about 75 kms since I put on my winter tires on a new set of wheels WITHOUT TPMS sensors. I was expecting to see a TPMS warning/alert. But nothing so far.

How long does it take before the system gives you an alert?

I imagine it should have happened already, usually takes 1-10kms in most cars I have seen.

Yes. My previous 2009 Toyota Venza gave me an alert almost immediately. Kinda leads me to question if my TPMS is actually working. I had a problem with the parking sensors a couple of weeks after I picked up my car. (the dealer changed the sensors and module for that and all is good now). So maybe the TPMS is somehow messed up.

This is one of those rare occasions where I would love to see an alert! lol

I would book it in if I was you. It should have certainly given a warning. How good is tpms when it doesn't activate for 75kms?
