I am going out to buy the 2016 RDX AWD Advance/Elite model. I really wanted to get the white but HAVE to have ebony/black interior. That limits me to what colour I can get.

I've narrowed it down to Graphite Luster or Slate Silver. Which one do you think looks better? Does anyone have any pics of the silver? I can't find any :-(

I think the more important question is which color do you like better.

I suggest to go a take a look at the RDX in these colors in person. Actually seeing in person can help you make a choice. I have seem them in person and personally I like Black and do not like it in the Graphite Luster. But everyone's tastes are different. Good Luck!

I'm in the same boat as you. The ebony/black interior is the only one I would consider, so whatever colors come with it, I guess.

I notice the NX comes in the white exterior/ black interior combo. C'mon Acura

I do believe the Acura RDX is available in white exterior/ black interior combo.... if you live in Canada.

I'm in Canada and you can get that combo for the 2015 but not the 2016

I had been considering buying a white diamond '16 Advance/Elite with an ebony interior. So much for that idea.

I hear ya! I've been waiting for this car for almost a year now! All along I've known in my mind that I am buying the white with ebony....Imagine my disappointment when I found out that wasn't an option!! I would imagine that they will offer it in another 6 months or so but I can't wait that long! URGH!!!!

You wouldn't think it would be that tough. Volvo let's you order combos that aren't 'standard' with a special order or OSD. Can't see why Ohio would be tougher..."Hey, Joe!!! Throw a black interior in the next white RDX Advance/Elite in the line!!! Thanks!!!"

OMG?!?! Are you serious...White RDX without a black interior? That would be a deal breaker for me right there....NOt that I would get another one but still! I hope it is not the beginning of a trend with Acura Canada to exclude the white exterior /black interior combo!

I agree there should be more choices...but, mine will be....Pearl white w/parchment! So there!! LOL!! Being in an all black interior makes me feel like I'm in a closet all cramped in place.....but, again...it's all subjective.


Hey Weather...I have a '15 Accord Cpe, EX-L, V6 navi...and it's pearl white with a 2 tone interior and it really looks awesome. Rare to see the 2 tone leather interior in an Accord. I put some very special Acura A-Spec 2006 vintage wheels on it...that I've had wrapped and stored for a few yrs. It looks great.

As much as I love/hate a black exterior, I'd probably go black/black. My first choice would be pearl white with the ebony interior, or the midnight blue with ebony, if Acura offered it.

The parchment is simply unacceptable to me. It shows wear and dirt so quickly. Hell, even my hipster skinny jeans turns the seats blue, lol. I love the ebony interior in my 2008, just seems classy to me.

The Accord EX-L Coupe with the V6 and 6 speed manual trans appeals to me more than any Acura sedan.

I ordered the 2016 RDX Advance package in Graphite metallic/Ebony interior today and it should be in within 10 days. I traded my 2014 RDX white diamond pearl/parchment interior. Love the white...hate the parchment interior, as the dye from my dark jeans constantly rubs off and makes it look dirty.

^^I agree, and it makes no sense to me. That white/ebony combination is sweet! Parchment interior is a deal breaker for me. I see that the Lexus NX comes in the b/w combo in the US. Wake up Acura!!

The local Acura dealer here in southwestern Ontario advised this morning they've received their first shipment of 2016 RDXs, most of them Elite (Advance) models. Included in the group is a White Diamond exterior with Ebony interior Elite model. I'll be test driving one of the new RDX Elites sometime today or tomorrow.
The photo below was forwarded to me by the dealer.

Thanks for posting the pics! Is it me or does the Slate Silver really look light blue? I saw it last night in the showroom and it looked awesome but then I saw it outside in the daylight and I couldn't believe it was the same colour! It really looked blue to me

No, it's not you! The new Slate Silver color looks light blue in a lot of different lighting, including certain daytime ambient lighting conditions. It's one of those colors that kind of morphs according to the lighting that's on it. In many/most photos I have viewed of the '16 RDX in Slate Silver the color gives the impression of a light blue.

So when I got my '15 RDX I had a choice of almost all the colors, and debated as to which I'd want. I was just coming from a white '13 MDX (and the wife's '12 TL is white as well) so wanted something different. Around here there are tons of black, silver (both types) and basque red pearl. So I wanted something different. The dealer had one Kona Coffee RDX, and after seeing this video posted by a detailing vendor on YouTube I decided this was the color I wanted. I'd not hesitate at all in getting a '16 in this same color - and if you add either the chrome door trim or running boards, it would really set it off.

The "brown" color looks black in low light, pops out as very bright in direct sunlight, and changes its appearance depending on the light and angle you're viewing it at. You don't see many, but I'm happy with the way it looks
