New to the forum. Traded in an evo X for the new 2013 RDX with tech on Monday. Absolutely love this vehicle. Will miss the turbo and handling on the evo but with all tech and comfort in the rdx, I'm not complaining

Congrats on your purchase...it is a sweet ride and will appreciate it more and more each day. I know I do

Thanks. I'm definitely enjoying it. I find myself more relaxed when driving this. I don't get all crazy driving like I did when I had my evo. Guess you could say I'm growing up. Hahaha

Car Crazy for Sure!
New to the forum and I appreciate what you have to offer. I have been reading through many threads on this site and you are doing a great job. I am finalizing a deal on an AWD/Tech model, Forged Silver Met. w/Parchment interior. My first Acura, but I've owned many Hondas. 3 CRV's, 07,09, and an '11. I also have a '12 Accord Cpe, V6 navi, white/tan with aftermarket wheels and Michelins and other "dress up" stuff. Auto with paddle shifters.
Can't wait to get the new RDX. Waffled on the color choice. I know that FSM has a blue hue to it, but it depends on the lighting. Easier to take care of than the Pearl White I almost decided on. Glad to be here and to be able to learn and share.

Hello all! New to the forum and became a first-time Acura owner this past Monday. Traded in my 2007 Infiniti G35 Sedan for a 2013 RDX FWD Base model. I couldn't fathom the thought of another winter with RWD sport sedan. For budgetary reasons I couldn't go for the AWD and/or Tech Package, but I feel real good about this purchase nonetheless. I think the FWD RDX will perform just fine in nclement weather.

Hi fellow 2013 RDX owners,
We just traded in our 2010 Subaru Outback 3.6 Limited for the 2013 RDX AWD with Tech (Graphite/Ebony). We are picking it up this weekend and looking forward to it. This forum has been a great resource so far as I was researching the RDX and I hope I can help future and current RDX owners.

Hey to all the 2013 RDX owners. I hope to join your ranks very soon.
I'm negotiating on a new one at present. I hope to be the owner of an AWD RDX with the Tech package in Urban Titanium Metallic on Wednesday.

Hi everyone, I'm new to Acura and new to the forum. I traded in my Toyota Highlander for a new 2013 RDX. Color choice was a tough decision but I went with 'black on black'. Can't wait to pick it up this week... I just hope I love this vehicle!

Hi all:
First time Acura owner, just traded in my 2006 Saab 9-5 (will be missed) for a 2013 Graphite Luster RDX w/Tech. Looking forward to my early X'mas gift.
This a great forum! It really helped in my research.
Happy motoring to all!

Dj, what model year/generation Highlander did you have? Sis in law has a Gen I('05) and the RDX makes it look/feel like a tin box. Still running strong w/125K miles...I'll give 'er that!

Glad to be here, hope to contribute, just bought a 2013 FWD w/ Tech that I am looking forward to picking up next week.
This site has been helpful so far prior to my purchase as were the Touareg & CRV sites that I frequented when owning those vehicles.
Coach Rick hope to meet you some day as I am in the Austin/SA area once a month.

Hi all,
I'm new to Acura but have owned a couple of Hondas in the past including a CRV. Looking forward to picking up my 2013 Acura RDX AWD with tech Basque Red with Parchment interior on Friday, Feb. 15. I'm learning a lot from Acurazine...thanks to all.

It's a sad/happy weekend for me. I am excited because I just purchased a 2013 RDX w Tech package, but the only reason is because my 2001 Acura CL-S was totaled on Wednesday in a car accident. I purchased that car brand new on August 26, 2001, and it was truly a part of my family. I am sad to see it go but excited to have a modern Acura with tons of features to learn about. I was like a child on Christmas morning when the sales rep was able to play songs from my iPhone via Bluetooth on the RDX. I had to use the old school tape deck adapter to use my iPhone in the CL-S. I am sure there are many other bells and whistles I have yet to discover on the RDX.
I look forward to being a part of the RDX Acurazine family.

Already on the forum, but just purchased a 2013 (only 3200 miles) RDX black/parchment. Hated to let my baby go (2008 Cherokee SRT8 w/ Procharger) but I'll enjoy the 28 MPG as opposed to the 12 MPG.
Now I just need to sell a 2007 TL Type S.

Bought a 2014 w/Tech Package last Saturday, Basque Red/Parchment. Traded our 2008 CR-V EX. Drove it from Phoenix to LA and back already, about 1200 miles. So far really liking it, it's a nice step up from the CR-V.

Hope to join the RDX ranks soon. It will mean coming over from the darkside (Toyota). My daughter turns sixteen tomorrow and will take my wimpy Prius off my hands soon. Driving an RDX makes me feel like Don Garlits. Wish me luck in convincing wifey to spring the extra $6k over the price of a RAV4. Feel free to provide me some useful ammo.

I just moved from Tujunga to Grants Pass, Oregon, and it's night and day - our salesman insisted we take a long drive through the mountains as well as on the freeway. After similar test drives in the Grand Cherokee and Volvo XC60, we wound up with the RDX - the sports car of small SUVs.
The RAV is a good vehicle, but for something a bit more sporty at a lower price than the RDX, make sure to try the Mazda CX5.
EDIT: I just noticed in another thread that you did get an RDX...congrats.
