^ considering you get milage comparable to a family sedan and the TSB seems to fix it, I would say yes it is.

First time Acura owner and I'm so disappointed with this vehicles. It currently has 8850 miles. I went for a Sunday ride today and it ended early because it annoys me to no end. It has all of the symptoms described in this and other post. I had it in for service and they said its (normal). This is not normal how can reviewers get it so wrong. That's when I started researching the WEB. Acura fix it please. I could never recommend this vehicle.

Not sure if you've seen the other thread on this topic, but be sure to view this thread as it describes the problem and the last many points talk about the fix Acura has for this.

You'll see my long post toward the end of that thread. I had the issue too, talked to multiple dealers, called AcuraCare multiple times, and a Technical Service Bulletin was issued earlier this year. Take the TSB with you to the dealer and have them fixed it. Many of us have and after the fix, it's like driving the RDX new from day one. Back to a great vehicle!

What dealer did you go to?

I felt it right away when I bought my 2014 in January. However, it has almost disappeared at 4K miles. I feel it very rarely now.

Found the info on TSB 14-001. I hope this is the fix. Purchased at At Acura of Peabody in MA. I'm surprised they weren't aware of this TSB. Thank you very much....

It's funny, the one recall the RDX had was for something nobody complained about.

Nope.. the competition, Acura Q5 6cyl/BMW X3 6cyl gets almost the same gas mileage as the RDX without VIBRATION-Cylinder management.. They get 26 highway vs the RDX 27.. I'd rather lose 1 mpg highway and have no vibration.

Curious about the symptoms that people had with the propeller shaft issue. I think I am having the issue,
but the TSB mentions cold temps and highway speeds. I am feeling the vibration even now that it is warm outside and mostly on city streets. Hate to go to the dealer and they tell me that it is "normal" or can't duplicate the issue.

See this thread for more information:
https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=901179

I questioned fact the TSB mentions the vibration occurs in cold temps. Before I had the shaft replaced, the vibration occurred in any temperature, even if it was 100 degrees outside. It was worse however when cold, but still very noticeable when warm.

Not sure what to say about pushing the dealer to address the issue even through it is no longer cold outside. I am 100% confirm the issue occurred when warm or even hot outside. I've had the propeller shaft replaced and have not noticed the vibration since.

Thank you. made an appointment for Friday, will see what they say..
Also, have a knocking sound since January, finally was able to "pin point" the location. Looks like it is coming from under the car on the front passenger side inside the frame ( I think). will have them look at that also.

I just started experiencing a vibration feeling through the steering wheel on my ILX as well.

Mostly feel in on accelerations above 60+ mph.

Could this be the same issue?
