Takata air bag inflator

Mine is scheduled for Wednesday.....I've been waiting since February for the Takata airbag replacement on my '15 RDX.
I elected to keep and continue to drive my car as I felt the risk was fairly minimal. Every time that I went in for routine service, I was told "2-6 weeks" for the part to arrive and that I would be contacted. "2-6 weeks" have yet to arrive.
I believe that the dealerships have been giving priority to those cars which have been parked while Acura is paying for long-term rentals and for those vehicles pending sale.
I contacted Acura Customer Service last week and expressed my dissatisfaction with this process.....lo and behold, my part is now at the dealership.
Anxious to get this chapter behind me as I have zero other issues with this vehicle.
