Service Costs?

Wife took her 17 RDX Base in for it's first service basically a oil change and inspections and MX light light reset.
She got out of there for just around $200, seems a little high but not too bad from the Acura dealer.
Is that the going rate?

dealers are franchises...they can set what ever price the market dictates.
one will always spend less at an independent shop with a trusted mechanic

To me its less about saving money and more about having my eyes and hands involved in looking at my car and knowing that jobs were done correctly. I can evaluate the condition of aspects of the car accurately.

unless you have access to Honda/Acura diagnostic tools like Service Express or Service Information System , you're fooling yourself.
Can you reset the warning light?

Yes, you can reset the maintenance light, its in your manual, youtube video, Google search etc. If you have an OBD2 reader you can pull codes also. Im certainly not fooling myself.
