Online Reviews?

Has anybody reviewed their RDX on Edmunds or other online car websites? I just reviewed mine on Edmunds. When researching a vehicle, it was important for me to see how the actual owners feel about their lease/purchase. I gave it 5 stars....what would you give and why?

I also did Edmunds and gave it 5 stars. I was a bit disappointed in Edmunds as some guy gave it 3 stars because it didn't have remote start and some crap about the windshield wipers didn't sweep the entire windshield. I suspect he was a troll. Anyway, because there are so few revews his rating is dragging the overall rating down. Interesting that the 3 most common dislikes are no height adjustment on passenger seat, no rear vents and smallish gas tank. I agree with all these but like the other reviewers (except no remote start guy) I think it is a great car with 5 stars overeall.

I agree with those 3 dislikes as well....I forget that I have only a 16 gallon tank and I'm wondering why am I filling this thing up every 10 days when I'm getting 23-25 MPG. Then I see other SUV's with 20-25 Gallon tanks and thank the heavens that I'm not spending $80-$100 each fill up, instead I spend about $45-$50. I guess that's why I didn't include that in my review, as its all relative.

BTW - I saw your comment on my Edmund's review (mine is right under yours) and wanted you to know that I did give it 5 stars overall. It was weird because the 5 stars on all the individual components showed but there were no stars on the overall for the first week or so after I posted. All the stars finally showed up today. Maybe they read your posting at Edmunds.

LOLOL!!!! That was you?!? I actually sent a "report" to edmunds. ( I know, I REALLY need a life, lol) They replied to me yesterday VIA E-Mail and said that you actually gave 5 stars and they were in the process of fixing it....By the time I got home, it was fixed. When your review showed up with 0 stars, it brought the "average review" to 3.5 stars which I thought was misleading, especially since you said in your review that it was 5 stars. Now the average user rating is back to 4.5 stars, where it should be and shall remain (hopefully).

That is funny. Good for you for looking out for the RDX reputation and contacting Edmunds. The whole Edmund's thing was screwed up from the get go. They even dropped the y from my screen name and I typed it in right.

I've only test-driven it once but have visited 3 dealerships to sit in it and poke around for a few minutes. I'd probably give it 3.5-4 stars. Most of the deduction for me is for the same seeming cost-cutting others complain about (i.e., lack of adjustable rear vents, numb steering feel, etc.). It's also got a near-luxury feel to it. I would like it to be more optionable than it is as well.

The vehicle looks great, has a good engine, and gets good mileage for its class, not to mention, it probably will have good reliability, so all these bring the "stars" up.
