Leatherette seats hold heat

In hot weather the leatherette seats in my '17 RDX absorb so much ambient heat that it almost feels like the seat heaters are on. This happens even when I've been parked in the shade. The A/C will cool the cabin down fine but I can feel the heat from the seat where I'm making contact with the surface. I've found a couple of different ventilated seat cushions online but, reviewers say the quality isn't very good. Others with the same issue have said they put a towel or sheet on their seats in summer. Sheepskin seat covers are another suggestion. Anyone have a different/better solution?

I can tell you the ventilated leather seats in the Advance have the same issue. Noticed the same thing in the CX5 GT rental I had last week. Black leather is not good in hot weather. I assume yours is black?

Mine is gray. When trying to find a solution online, I came across several comments indicating that both leather and leatherette present this issue. Color and things like tinted windows seemed to make no difference. The seat upholstery is absorbing ambient heat.

If the seats are hot when you get in the car, the cooled seats don't work that well, and the seats are hot.
