Gas mileage
FWIW, I recently made my first long trip after I installed a S-VCM to my '18 Advance AWD. Before the S-VCM my mileage averaged 26.5 highway at around 80 mph and about 19 around town. This was usually on mid-grade gas with premiun used every third or so fill-up. With the S-VCM, my average highway mileage at the same average speed remained 26.5 on mid grade, but climbed to 27.5 to 28 when I used premium fuel. Around town mileage dropped about 1 mpg in similar driving conditions. All in all, I'm happy with the results. I was a little surprised by the increased mpg when using premium fuel, but don't believe it's worth the increased cost.

Just thought of something else: The RDX burned a little less than a half-quart of oil in its 2200 miles driven prior to S-VCM installation. In the 2000 mile trip with S--VCM it burned zero oil. ???Beats me, maybe it needed breaking in.

Burning Brakes
I haven't installed mine yet.
Almost 6000 miles with zero oil consumption.

Good mileage on '17
Recent highway trip ( w/o VCM alteration ) '17 averaged 31 mpg - 70 mph, 25 degrees F, winter tires*. Folks on the '19 forum are crying about their mileage.
* I have averaged 33 mpg on this trip in the summer.
