Exterior - Interior Colors

Out of curiosity, I looked at the various color combinations for the 2013 RDX in Canada and the US. Sort of odd differences.

White Diamond Pearl......US Parchment..............Can Ebony or Parchment
Crystal Black Pearl.........US Ebony or Parchment Can Ebony or Parchment
Graphite Luster Metallic..US Ebony or Parchment Can Ebony
Forged Silver Metallic.....US Ebony or Parchment Can Ebony
Basque Red Pearl II........US Parchment.............Can Ebony
Silver Moon..................US Ebony
Alabaster Silver Metallic..................................Can Ebony
Amber Brownstone.........US Parchment
Urban Titanium Metallic...................................Can Ebony

And since you Canadians have a strange way to express gas usage I calculated a factor to convert.

Divide US mpg by 3.10 to get Canadian liters per 100 km.

Multiply Canadian liters per 100 km by 3.10 to get US mpg.

Holy crap, I guess in Canada you pretty much better love ebony interiors. Still sucks the US can't get WDP with ebony, though.

I think here in Canada we have such severe weather Acura thought that parchment would be too hard for us to maintain, huh!? LOL

Seriously, I wish we had more choices. I wish that there would be colours like umber to choose from....

I can tell you that I test drove a Black one a few weeks ago (before mine arrived) and it had a parchment interior....It looked great but you can see alot of the dirt already. I, myself, could never get a light colored vehicle for that reason, especially with the weather we have here. This just be me, but I thought the lighter colored door made them look bigger and taller while the black makes it feel more balanced....maybe its just an optical illusion and why bigger people like to wear black (lol)

Here is a correction to my "old" math.

liters per 100km = 235.22 divided by mpg.

mpg = 235.22 divided by liters per 100km
