Difference between ACC and ACC W/LSF
So the new RDX will have the Adaptive cruise control but wont have the low speed follow, , what is the difference anyways? what does ACCLSF do that ACC dont

It allows you to follow a car at low speed, .
Regular adaptive cruise control works above 25 mph I think.

ACC also just uses the same radar for CMBS to help slow down/speed up the vehicle. ACC+LSF uses a camera and CMBS radar to do the same function. ACC+LSF can actually stop a vehicle while the old ACC will just slow you down. Both have the same limitations of fog, winding roads, some motor cycles, steep hills, blocked sensors from snow/ice/slush, etc..
I find ACC is only helpful on open hwy, decent weather, minimal turns/hills, and light/med traffic. ACC for my MDX can't anticipate driver's intentions like I can in heavy or city traffic. As an result, ACC can be real jerky applying power and sometimes accelerates when it should coast or slow down. I just use it from city limit to city limits only (CMBS is on all the time).

ACC within city limits to me drives about the same as letting your 16 yr old teenager drive in heavy city traffic for the first time. It really takes a lot to trust the technology if you are an old school driver and like complete control over your vehicle (or feel like you are in control).
