Cross bars for 2017 RDX TECH AWD

Hi All,

I'm looking into cross bars for the 2017 RDX. It has the roof rails (going front to back) installed already. I was look into the Whispbar S55 Base Rack from Amazon. I'm a bit uncomfortable with the OEM cross bar since I've been reading that it sits crooked on the rail. Does any have any experience cross bars for the RDX? Any suggestions for other cross bars are welcome.

Thanks!

I have Yakima 58" round bars with their removable "Towers" that can be installed or removed in minutes. They can have locks built into them so the bars & towers cannot be stolen.

The bars are nice in that if you get 4' by 8' building materials on your roof, the bars are long enough to loop your tie down straps around. If you ever change vehicles, and the new car has "low profile" type factors rails, the new towers would be the only thing you would have to purchase. The bars would work with the new towers. Round bars are a little noisy, but I only use them when needed, and then take them off.
