copying CDs to HDD
Hi,
I've only had my RDX for a few weeks. When I put in a CD, it automatically gets copied to the HDD, which I guess is the intended behavior. If I stop the car before the entire CD copies, will it re-record the whole CD later when I start up again, or does it somehow pick up where it left off?
After it finishes copying the CD to the HDD, I get a few messages on the screen that say something about being ready for new voice commands. What is it that the system expects me to do at this point? What commands is it looking for at that time? Also, the voice often announces the name of the song currently playing. Is there a way to turn off that part of the voice system without turning off all voice functions?
When the HDD gets full, does it remove the oldest material when a new CD is inserted? Or does it ask what to remove? Or does it just not copy any more to the HDD?
Thanks,
Gregg

Make sure that your AUX isn't set to HDD, it might be your default so keeps copying.
on my 2014 tech awd you have to go into HDD and import manually.
The voice commands are so you can call the tracks/artists , some of the names aren't normally stored in the Acura-ese database so you can build your own.
Haven't gotten to the limit yet to answer the storage question

It picks off were it left off. I would expect to give you warning about running out of space. Still with ~15G, that is a lot of music. If you are copying 14-15G worth of CDs onto HDD, you will be in a car for a long time ....
