I'm considering getting a '19 RDX when they come out this summer. I bought my present RDX in May '15 when the '16's were rolling in.

Anyone bought a car with TWO trade in's? I have the '16 RDX Advanced and a '13 Mini Roadster that I would like to sell. I live in a state that doesn't charge sales tax on the trade in portion. At 10%, I would have to sell the Mini for 10% more that an trade in allowance just to break even.

Just wondering if anyone else has tried this and what their experience was.

While I always choose to sell myself and never trade...I do know more than one person who has traded two used cars for new. I would assume any dealer would jump at the chance to underpay on a 2nd vehicle...more profit for the dealership.

You're not really "trading in", you're selling to the used car department. They'll be happy to give you a skinning on as many cars as you like.

You can do this since your no trading but selling your car to the dealership. Personally I would take the car that has the highest resale value and put that towards the 2019 and the other car have the dealer right you a check for
