Accessory Install

Has anyone attempted to install the roof rails themselves? Dealer wants an obscene amount of money to do this, so was wondering if this is a potential DIY project. Thanks.

Have you read through the instructions?

looks like you would need the right saw. Maybe a cordless sawzall? Or a Dremmel tool? Making clean cuts to the existing roof molding seems like the hardest part. Ultimately it seems to attach to existing studs in the roof channel. With all the right tools and a carefull afternoon it seems doable.
