2018 rdx says Mute on screen

Hi, I have a 2018 rdx and this morning, I used Siri to send a text and instead of the car returning to audio (my ipod), the words MUTE appeared on the screen. How do I unmute??

Did you try turning it off and turning it on again?

My RDX got stuck with MUTE on screen too. Radio wouldn’t work at all and voice commands and touchscreen would not work. I called Acura and they told me that I could reset the electronics by disconnecting the negative terminal on the battery for 5 minutes.

It worked. When I turned on car got message on screen to allow 10 minutes for reset and then everything came back. Didn’t have to reprogram or re-enter anything.
