The first NSX arrives at Hopkins Acura in Redwood City, CA
We just got our first NSX here at work, and I wanted to share the photos with everyone. They're arriving in a 6 vehicle covered transport. The paint evidently takes up to 6 weeks to completely cure, so there is no exterior protection on the vehicle itself. There is more than enough on the inside to make up for that though! Ours arrived with 5 miles. In transport mode, the vehicle drives almost exclusively by electric motor, and the acceleration is limited to less than golf cart performance. The speed is also limited, although it doesn't matter, as the acceleration is so slow you'd have to be on a high speed ring to hit 15mph. I had no problem getting it into our service drive, although people at Acura were grimacing at our entry angle.
