Wow 0-60mph at 2.9 for the NSX (does have an exhaust) now that is DAMN FAST!!!

Truly an underrated supercar imo.

UMM... i was expecting the NSX to get smoked... much closer than I would have imagined cause the Teslas are quarter mile monsters. love how the NSX starts pulling hard on the Tesla late.

Yup same here. Chris Harris said that the Model S is a 0-100mph monster, and after that ICE cars will pull away simply due to physics of the electric motor and the super heavy weight.

What's interesting is that the P100D still got to 60' just a bit faster than the NSX in BOTH runs but the NSX was able to pull away quick/catch up quick. The wheel-motors really helps the NSX launch hard it seems.

It's already running 11.06 being almost stock....I'd reckon it's not hard at all for the NSX to dip into the 10s on mild mods or heck just really nice tires/good elevation/temp and not much gas in the tank?

At the end they say "worlds quickest new nsx". it must have more to it done than just the exhaust. I mean, just an exhaust wouldn't make it the worlds quickest. I'm sure there are others with an exhaust already. Either way, Interesting.

In race 2/2 the NSX actually beat the Tesla by a lot more than the Tesla one the first race by. Tesla got OWNT in race 2.

Carwow from UK got 10.8s in a stock NSX. And in a NSX Facebook group, there's a NSX with exhaust and downpipe that did 10.9@129mph. So....this NSX here definitely isn't the fastest anymore!

That's the difference. reliability.

As each run ended, I eased off the accelerator and let the NSX calm down. It did so with no fuss and no muss. Even by the end of the day, after all of the journalists relentlessly beat on the NSX for several hours, no warning lights, no funny smells, no smoke. It simply went back to being a “regular” sportscar as it drove off.

This drive, more than any other drive, gave me an even higher respect of what Acura built. It was far too short and I can’t wait to drive the Acura NSX again. Well done Acura.
