Will a 51R Battery fit in our cars?
I'm thinking of replacing the stock one with a new Optima Yellow Top. I know this is the battery to use with the CT S/C but I was wondering if the downgraded size of a 51R will fit in the stock location?
If not, what size am I looking for then?
Thanks guys.

Yes, it will fit...sort of. There will just be a space remaining where the bigger part of the battery used to be.
I had to wait a couple months before I installed the s/c. So I just put in the Optima 51R in the stock location for the time being.

yep you can do it, but I would contact Comptech and see if they will sell you the Battery tray for the 51R...
It comes with the S/C kit, but you might be able to pick it up off of them for a couple dollars.. the 51R slides right down into the tray and fits snuggly, so you will have no worries at all..

It's an auto, but it shouldn't be too far off from the 6-spd
