im gonna be going to the track sunday i will get into the 13s but how low can i get?hmmm. we shall see. traction is gonna be a big problem seeing how im on all season tires, oem 17's and lowered
i almost hit high 13's with intake and catback. the key is launching. gotta find right rpms to do not spin ur tires and to low... i was always launching from 2.5k 3k. rpms. if i had good clutch im sure i can hit 13's without problem. so if u gonna do it right i think could be a low 13's let us know

wheel spin is the thing thats gonna keep me back. i would love to hit low 13 with a 125 shot. then id get the car tuned and spray 150shot along with lighter rims. and if i hit 12's just with that then ill start to build my engine and then boost it rather than boost a bit and then build the engine so it can handle more boost

You should be on the spray as soon as you make traction, and if it lets go once you hit it, you need more tire or less juice. Sometimes the trick to fast times is less power....

Clock is ticking before you blow the top off a piston and probably send chunks into the head with a 125 dry shot. Wet it up and dial that timing in, or tune it back to 50-75 shot (wet).

I'm not babying the cl. If it blows it blows. At least I will know how far I can push it before it blows. Then build the next one stronger

good luck. You're going to need slicks or at least drag radials to even get close to 11's. crank up the stiffness on the rear if you got coilovers. Plan on spending a lot more than you actually think, its going to be a lot harder with a car that has relatively little aftermarket support like a CL. Hope you do hit 11's though, you'll be a pioneer!

cool. Also do you or anyone else know how much power the stock axles are good for? That's another big thing.... once you get the traction down the weak link the drivetrain is going to sever, and I'm thinking it will be the axles at ~450+ whp

You're probably going to need 600whp to hit 11s... it's too difficult to get the car off the line quickly to hit 11s without a ridiculously quick short time. I think the best allmotor ever did with slicks was a 1.9.

If you don't mind me asking, what exactly do you do to be able to afford all of that at 19? I'm 21 and I can't wait to graduate so I'll have my degree and can go do the things I want to do.
