I never take my car to a car wash. Don't trust the machines. And those supposed soft devices that touch the car are not so soft. I wash my car myself or it does not get washed.

careful with the absorber... when I use it.. I dont use it to 'wipe' caus if something is on the absorber.. you will scratch the car up.

Water blade is another good tool to use...

The MOST time saving thing though is to keep your car well polished//zaino'd... then.. when you are done washing... give a slow stream of water on your car... (not with the spray) and all the water will just bead right off!!! whats left only takes like 5 min to dry.

Another vote for the “ABSORBER”.
I have a RED one for the body & my old standard TAN one for the wheels, engine & other dirty/greasy areas.

The absorber works well. I use two of them and real soft cotton towels.

The same applies for a towel or any other kind of water removal tool you may use.

WalMart, Kmart, or AutoZone type places have them. They are in a plastic tube. They feel kind of rubbery when they are wet, and smell funny. But, they work great! Again, just keep it clean and use it to "pat" the water off; don't "wipe".

Any auto parts store has the ABSORBER. It is a synthetic chamois and it comes in a plastic tube in a variety of colors. Get Yours Today While Supplies Last!! LOL

You should be able to find the absorber anywhere. (ie. KMart, Schuck's, Target). It's an awesome accessory!! I also use 100% cotton towels (ie. FieldCrest), for places that I don't want to cgrease up my Absorber, such as wheels and undercarrige. Give 'er a try...you'll be thoroughly impressed.

Laser wash? as in those 'touchless' washes???

DONT EVER use those... their 'presoak' solution or whatever they use strips off ALL the Zaino on the car!!! I made this mistake once and never again.

I sometimes go to a Simoniz car wash near my house and it leaves the car looking great!!
-no scratches
-no wax stripping
-cheap
-fast

FYI: I cant wash it too much myself because of water restrictions in florida due to drought.

I have 4 eqyptian cotton bath towels that I I have under lock and key in my car box. I make sure that they get washed without fabric softener and shake them well, to minimize lint, before trying the car.

100% cotton towels with NO fabric softener works best. Fabric softener prohibits water from being absorbed
