What can i fit???

I have a 2001 Acura Cl Type-S with a j32a2 auto and am trying to do a swap. I was wondering what bigger j series engines would fit in the car I,was thinking a j35 or a j37 with a 6 speed tranny. Can anyone help me out???

Both of them can I believe.

There are tons of people who have experience with that stuff on here. Search the TL and CL 2nd gen areas and you can find more info.

buy a 6 speed car to start. you can bolt in and run a j35a3. any others, your gonna run into fitment issues.

J35A3 is the biggest you can put in without serious rewiring/modifications. All blocks after that have a different bell housing and are drive by wire and require different trans. You can take a J35a3 and simply put in a J37 crank and make it a 3.6 or have the block bored out 1mm and use 90mm pistons and make it a 3.7 (what i did)
