Weird noise after installing my Alphawerks headers.

Hey, I installed my headers yesterday and i noticed this weird noise when the rpms are in between 2k and 3.5k. It sounds like a grass cutter, like one of these:

The noise is not too loud but kinda annoying. Is this the resonance everyone talks about? I went back to the place where I installed it and they told me there were no leaks. Im confused....
Anyone here with AW headers? How was the sound after you installed them? did it change?

When i installed my headers, they had to be forced to fit. Maybe thats one of the reasons?
Im gonna send it to another mechanic to check for leaks. If they do leak and theres no way to fix it, can i send them back and get new ones?
So sound aint supposed to change when i install headers?

I took my car over to my friends house and he recognized the sound. It was resonance i was hearing. Does this affect the performance of my car?

Needed to weld

I installed my AW and i had to have the rear header welded cause it was leaking. When they forced them on i think they cracked. No noises anymore

I have OBX headers and they resonate exactly at 2200-2500rp. Sounds like you have the same issue. There isn't anything you can do except put the stock ones on. I worried about leaks but the dealership looked also and they say they are tight. I do feel a difference in power so I haven't worried too much. I am much more of a jack-rabbit start guy now though just to avoid the resonance.
