typeRs EMS

so ... ive been thinking about this for years and i think its time somebody trys ths ...

ive used part in principle and the comptech SC kit uses it as well...

knock sensor: when you remove the upper lower intake its clearly visible by PS pump on block ... more or less a micro phone inside the block listening for ping and knock... ad a rubber washer keeping it for being as deep in block and or wrap it in something that would muffle sound some but not all ( not recomended for SC users and maybe not even the 91 oct guys sorry cali)

IAT my concern here is im not sure all the roles this sensor plays if it only reports a voltage range based on temps and our ECU then pulls or adds timing then we voltage clamp it to report nothing more or less than a narrow range of cooler temps ...

MAP again unclear all its role in reporting to ECU but again we already have a clamp for this i.e. the comp sc kit as can easily duplicate this...

o2 sensor another easy one clamp it in a range that allows us to pull or add fuel as desired pull for most of us

now the area i always had the most curiousty about ... from where does this fricken car get its fuel cut info from ? wheel speed sensor ? rpm trigger on fly wheel or elswhere ? i always wanted needed another 300 or so RPM i think this car could turn 7500 all day and never be damaged but specially on the 1-2 that extra margin for error would be a big benefit ...

long and short instead of trying to re write maps with emanage and the like which as some are saying only work for a short time ... lie to the ECU and report to it ideal situations and allow it to write its own ideal maps (fuel timing etc )

The fuel cut is managed by the Ecu directly. I know the Tl can rev to 7500 but anything higher than that and you're asking for trouble. The piston weight and speed play a big role as to why Honda put the fuel cut in place.

I'm not sure the valves could handle the higher speeds either

everything is handled by the ECU directly ... but the ECU is getting its info from something/somewhere i.e. rpm trigger switch ... wheel speed sensor both ? intercept the signal and clamp it right at 7100 allowing the ecu to never see anything above ... ive heard of 6mts missing a gear and momentarily turning 10k rpms and survive ...im sure honda engineers built in well over 3/400 rpms of margin of saftey that we could exploit ...
