Tricks to remove outer door handle?
I have been fighting this thing for a while. The rod will not come out of the plastic holder. I think if I can get that out, I can finish the job. Just did the door handle in my Del Sol, and it took about 45 minutes. This thing is fighting for its life. Somebody help before I break something... Tried searching on here, and elsewhere to no avail so far.

It is finished. Personally, I like the earlier chrome door handles. I had no idea they were different when I bought it, I just knew mine was broken and this one would fit. Typical newby stuff.
