Should I sell the CL-S6?

After the test drive today I've been wanting the New Nissan Z for a while now but I still don't know if I wanna sell the CL or trade it in. My Cousin is interested but the only problem is that he wants the S/C'er out and I have all the stock parts missing (long story on that) and with the economy what not I shouldn't be messin' with new car payments. My restaurant business is on and off recently and the profits aren't as potential as before. Its easy friends say "go for it" but I just don't want to take a chance don't get me wrong i still like the CL but with deals at the dealerships is attracting me on getting the 370z, great car. maybe I should just put the cl back to stock, maybe keep it and throw on the HBP and tune it? hopefully you guys can shine some light

Send me your supercharger kit and I will turn it into an MP90 unit at 10psi, for a small fee. I will even make you an intercooler and get you the maps for the AEM FIC you will need to run it all. Just a thought. MP90's are $275 shipped on ebay at the moment new in the box. I wanted to cry when I saw it because I paid dearly for mine.

I'm really close to taking the blower off your hands John I just wish the economy wasn't so down right now, it's hard to let go of that kinda cash. I think you should hold onto the car for now. When your biz gets going consistently a car payment wont hurt as much.

JProy, is there an intercooler for just the regular s/c and hbp?

Keep the CL for alittle while. As long as your sig is current, you have two other cars to drive, so you don't need a new car. Why go out and put yourself in $35k of debt?

Good luck with the restaurant btw.

i think it just depends on how much the Z will set you back. i'd actually love to get a new or newer car myself. only thing stopping me is i probably won't get much for my CL and i really don't want to take on another 4 years or so of car payments.

if you can manage the payments and still eat, sleep and live comfortably, then i say go for it

you know, i should have just spent all of my money and bought your car as we planned man...my transmission just went out yesterday (see my other thread)...

but I would keep your car, only thing I could see you wanting to upgrade is the FWD...honestly its a rare, beautiful, and very quick car. You have it paid off and all the mods you want...I would keep it if I were you until you really have enough money and economy looks good so as to not even have to ask if you should buy a 370Z or not.

I've learned that when we have something, we always want more and more b/c its so close money-wise, et cetera, et cetera: why I was about to buy your car! but in the big picture, see what you have, and enjoy it...more will come later. And like I said, if the decision truly makes perfect sense in your situation, you won't have to ask anyone if you should do it or not. wait for that right time.

Good luck on everything tho John, take care man.

smooth guys thanks I know I shouldn't be asking members on the forum upon my delimma decision. I thought about it earlier today at work so I'm probably gonna stick with CL-S. tough times are hitting everyone hard now and plus with the Trade-in or resale value what Fuzzy mentioned sucks ass. I'm probably gonna slap on the Stock dia UR crank pulley and HBP pulley maybe e-manage it. hopefully by 2015 things will pick up for everyone. my Lexus and toyota are the vehicles I use for work

Keep it.

I got rid of my 01 ABP Type-S last summer and I regret it dearly.

Don't get me wrong, the new 370Z is one hell of a car (my friend's dad just got one), but I wouldn't get rid of a S/C CL with only 58,500 miles for one. Just imo though.
