so i came across this injen heat shield and thought how it could be potentially usefull to us CAI users. I noticed the dirt/grime collects on the side pointing towards the front of the car. so i figured if i got this heat shield and put it facing the front of the car... then i wouldn't have crap going all over the one side of the intake filter??

and should i clean the filter or just replace? i hate cleaning a filter it feels so wrong for some reason.
