Wow! This is a very classy and beautiful kit! I hate it when kits are just "too much" or over the top. This certainly looks top notch! I'm still looking for a price. Haven't seen one? Also, I assume they can be painted to match the vehicle? Thanks!

Yo ron you know anyone in the New York area who does decent work for a normal price? I called up one shop and they told me 2200 to install it i laughed and hung up and another wanted minimum of 160-0 he said. Maybe Im wrong but i thought it was cheaper then that to get installed hit me back bro.

there is a place that is decently priced, but he quality of work is unmatched, these are the same people that work on Funk Master Flex's cars for shows and such. The thing you have to realize, is that when it comes to paint work, you get what you paid for, and it is wise to invest a little more and get it done once and for all, the right way. Also, NY overhead costs are a little higher then say, Cali or midwest. So the prices vary from region to regeion. this company I'm talking about is in brooklyn. call me for the number.

So I went in for the install. The kit is damn perfect but the paint didn't match!!! It's okay, going in next week when it is fixed.
Here are some prelim shots (not affixed with tape). The top lip is the older batch that didn't fit (the paint was perfect), the bottom lip is the new lip (fit perfect but had a grey-tone to it).

Looks good, there are a few things I ran into that i can see on your car:
1.) Some places need a small bracket until the urethane reverts back to shape, like the front driver's side side and the rear lip diffuser. they need small makeshift brackets to position them right.
2.) The other thing is that the side skirts were installed with too much of a flare in front of the rear wheel. those vertical lines need to be aligned with the rest of the wheel well, to get rid of any tension on the flat part. I already went thru this when installing my own kit.
3.) opted to go with simple silicone adhesive fro the sides so that it would be gap-less. But time will tell if the 3M tape will hold.
4.) insdie the wheelwells, where the lower screws are holding the kit in place, there may be a need for small shims, to release tension on the urethane and prevent flex. even a small piece of folded cardboard will do, to give the lower mounting point another 3mm or so. it won't be seen since it is on the inside of the wheel well.
5.) paint of place black vinyl on the inside of the wheelwell trim for a nice OEM look, or have that part masked off when painting, so it looks black and blends in with the wheel well.
these things are very simple but will give the kit a better overall appearance. Looks really clean, can't wait to see the car in a nice photoshoot with these things done! Call me Dustin.

1. How did you make the bracket?
2. Can I just push it in and self-tap [with a screw]?
3. I may or may not put the silicone, I'll see how it holds up in the heat this weekend.
4. Shims between the kit and the wheelwell? Like this: car -> shim -> kit -> screw ?
5. I was actually thinking of that yesterday!

1.) A piece of rigid Aluminum bent into shape and screwed to the underside of the bumper, and kit, holding it in place. threoretically, it will hold it there until the urethane reverts back to normal shape and it can be removed if desired. Jerry can do it for you.
2.) you have to undo the lower screw, reposition it and relocate the screw, have jerry do it next time you're there. the kit skirt should line up exactly with the OEM sideskirt from the inside lower part. its really easy to explain when you have the wheel off.
3.) See how it holds up with the tape first, you can always add the silicone later.
4.) yeah, like that, not really needed, just will release the tension a bit.
5.) this too is just an added thing to make it look refined even tho OEM kits have the same problem.
