Havent noticed any diff between Honda reformulated MT fluid and syncromesh. 166k miles on oem clutch and no trans issues at all, and it isnt babied.

Yep. Dont get me wrong, the GM stuff seems good. Definitely better than the old formula Honda stuff. Its just easier to buy the Honda reformulated since they always have it in stock and it seems to shift/feel the same. I have never had any shifting/grinding problems though, so I cant comment if it works any better on more significantly "aged" parts.

Tried old Honda MTF, new formula Honda MTF, Redline MTL, GM Synchromesh FM, and Amsoil MTF in an Integra and the CL6. Newer Honda, Redline and GM was better shifting than the old Honda formulation. Amsoil MTF gives the smoothest shifting in my CL6.

I ended up using the Redline MTL. It was a big improvement over what was in the tranny. Much smoother and better overall feel.
