Rear discs and pads need replacing @ 15,000kms??

Brought my car in to my mechanic today and asked hi to do a quick inspection. He told me that the front brakes are fine, but that on the back, both the discs and pads need replacing!! My car barely has 10,000mi (15,000 kms). Have any of you experienced this as well? I'm thinking of bringing it back to the dealer and raising hell till they cover it on warranty.

Maybe you don't release your parking brake all the way, all the time...I've driven a few miles with it on...

One feature that Acura should add is an audible alert if the parking brake is engaged while the car is moving (like what they do in the bimmers).

I'm still not used to not having a hand brake.

have the dealer check it out without the raising hell, if someone came to you raising hell, how quick would you be to help them out or take care of them?

true, true...Montreal CL-S, I've found that you can be firm when you present your case to the dealer without behaving like an a$$hole. If you feel that you're being treated unfairly, ask to speak to the Service Manager. If that doesn't work out, then you can call Acura Customer Service and bitch to them.
