Radio Questions

Hey Yall!

I have a quick question about radios. I recently purchased an 01 3.2cl type s that did not have the radio, but does have the nav system. There's a junk yard near me that has a radio unit for $35, but as the second pic shows this is from an 02 3.2cl NON type s and NON Nav equipped. My question is - will this radio fit my cl? The first pic is what my radio spot looks like This is my cl

I was actually thinking about that, but I'm real frugal and don't really need much more than to listen to the radio (I would use a tape player with aux cord to listen to my phone if and when I wanted to). But then again, it might be easiest to just bypass the fitment process and go aftermarket like you said.
If I were to do that, what's a good brand that is pretty affordable (under $100)?

Pioneer has some sub 100 models.

My thought is for a few bucks more, you ensure fit, get increased functionality, and not worry about it breaking soon.

Worth it in my book

Very good point. Thanks for your advice and I might do that instead of taking a $35 risk on a non-refundable part.

Any other suggestions yall?

Ah I see. Thanks so much for that info (I didn't know it was that easily accessible)! Since they are different parts, I think I'll opt for an aftermarket one. Thanks again yall!
