What is the proper way to seafoam the CLS? I know you can just pour the bottle in the tank, but have overseen other threads that have a different method. Who on here has seafoamed, and how?

i think there's a DIY here or on the 2nd Gen TL side. I sucked a bit in through the intake and a bit in the tank too.

Thanks, but have already seen that link. Dont know about that sounds sketchy, but I bet it works properly if done properly. I mean can you harm the engine by overdoing one of the steps? Or should I just add it to my gas tank? What is the advantage with the other method?

the way i did it on my car was remove the vac line going in to the front of the TB that has that lil metal bar that goes around the tb. plug the line. take a hose that fit onto that orfice and then that's the hose that will suck the seafoam into the engine as it's running.

put seafoam in a clear container so u can see how much u suck up.

u want to sucka lil at first then a lot at the end to choke the motor out.. then u leave it in there for 2-5 mins.. the longer the better they SAY. but it becomes harder to start the car the longer u leave that stuff in there.

when u start the car up u will see the cloud of smoke and ppl will think ur car caught fire most likely... it's hilarious

There's nothing sketchy about that DIY. In fact, it's spot on. There are plenty of wrong ways to do it, but that DIY is perfect.

Agreed. That's how I did mine.

theres nothing to it .. i take 3 clear plastic cups and pour even amount into each one

then pour the 1 cup into the gas tank
1 cup into the oil
and 1 cup into the vacume line you pull off your brake booster that goes into your manifold
(but here you have to pour slowly so car doesnt shut down)

then once you do that turn car off and wait 15 minutes .. aka smoke a cigarette and have a beer .. or whatever it is you do lol

turn car on and be prepared for white smoke like crazy then rev and drive around until stops smoking

and change the oil within next 100 miles

Allright, I am going to use the DIY. It says the pics are high quality on the DIY, but when you click for the larger image it is the same size jus sayin. I am pretty sure I can figure the proper induction point on the engine, so it really doesn't matter about the pics. Thanks.

Actually, it is correctly coded to open a new page with the larger image. If your computer is not able to do so, it's a little sketchy jus sayin.

Haha funny little guy are you?! I figured it out dickhead, I had to click on the image after you click on the image on my computer. And yes the DIY is correct, I just didn't read it well before I posted that comment it's not "sketchy" folks.
