Just for the record, I don't "hate" AcuraMikey, I am simply not going to be offering him any more good advice.

I don't hate him either. I do get a little irked when a new member comes on asking for help in one sentence but then tells us not to give him links to past threads or posts which comes across as "I'm not willing to do a little reading on my own, I just want to be spoon fed". Also, a little showing of humility and gratitude plays a big part on how I will respond to someone and whether I will spend any time trying to help.
To his credit he did say he was new to the forum scene and was learning. It is true that there can be misinformation buried within any forum but a little research(ie search function) will usually weed out the truths from the non-truths fairly quickly
That said, my recommendation would be: don't be a douche, show that you're willing to put some effort in on your own, and keep the high and mighty attitude to yourself.
BTW, My shoes fit just fine. I've seen plenty of punks like you come and go on this forum since I joined back in '01. If your diaper fits, wear it. Otherwise, man up, and put your big boy undies on if you want to play with the men.

Those pistons are forged so you know theyre good quality, if you get them get the nice wristpins too, it'll be worth it. If you ran 12:3.1 compression, did you run it on 93 octane? I'm thinking about milling my heads to get more compression.

Sorry, you lost me. Just because a component is a forging in no way means it is "good quality". True, a forged part typically has a higher likelihood of being defect free, but do not make the mistake of conflating "forged" with "high quality".

Your right, I personally don't have expierence with these pistons. But I do have expierence with P2R and those guys know there stuff. I also have experience with small block chevy stuff, forged pistons, rods, etc. Forged material makes a better quality part, better than hypereutectic. So unless your building a drag car, I don't see why you would be questioning these pistons. They should be fine for your application. They don't cost almost $1000 for 6 pistons because they are "low quality". These were personally recommended to me by the guys at P2R for my J-series. They only mess with quality components, so if they're selling it, chances are its a very good product. I joined this community to help others and to try to get help. Not to get in a pissing match. I hope this helps you, if not then forget it and have a blessed day.

First off this thread is super old, so idk what the relevance is. Second the dnj pistons are <$300, they can't be that great. Even hyper pistons are over $500.
The Traum pistons are the good $949- 979 set.
